Last month the beloved plugin, Jetpack, celebrates its fifth birthday – happy birthday, Jetpack! To celebrate the anniversary the team have debuted a brand new domain – jetpack.com.
On 9th March 2011 Jetpack 1.0 was presented to the world for the first time and its popularity has been staggering. Over the last five years the small team that came from the ranks of Automattic have elevated the plugin to new heights and the team has grown and grown, now standing at 50 members. The team work continuously on new features and updates to the plugin, and support Jetpack’s large customer base 24/7.
It’s been a fantastic five years for the team and we, along with the entire WordPress community, are excited to see what the next five years hold!
