WordPress designers out there will be excited to hear that version 1.0 of Themosis is now available and ready for use. Julien Lambé, Belgian application developer, describes the Themosis development framework as ‘a mix between WordPress best practices and a typical MVC framework’, which makes it a great option for PHP developers who are getting started with WordPress.
Since its beta period Themosis has seen a number of improvements and now boasts pre-configured local and production environments, as well as fine tuned routing and better templates. Themosis’ documentation contains guides on everything from routing to models, so there’s plenty of extra information for anybody looking to give Themosis a try.
