Great news for ecommerce sites everywhere: the payment gateway, Stripe, is now available for free via WooCommerce.
The service’s licensing model used to cost between $79-$199 but can now be used free of charge. The news comes at the same time as the release of Atlas, the brand new Stripe product that is designed to help entrepreneurs in the creation of global companies.
Stripe has worked over the last two years on the expansion of its services in many other countries outside the US and Europe. Although the Stripe payment gateway is very popular, it still does not have as global payment solution but the brand are hoping this is about to change with the launch of Atlas, which is to be used in combination with WooCommerce throughout the rest of the world.
