It’s only a couple of weeks until WordPress 4.5 is released so it’s the perfect time to take a look at the latest features that we can look forward to seeing in the new version.
Theme logo support – Version 4.5 will finally have theme logo support. The long-awaited feature is embedded in WordPress core and can be used via the Customiser.
Improved visual editor – The visual editor has been optimised to make the WordPress writing experience better and faster. In addition, multiple inline text shortcuts have been added.
Developer features – WordPress 4.5 brings numerous innovations for developers, including WP_Site class. Improvements have also been made in the script loader and the Customiser.
User login with e-mail – The login or e-mail address is inserted into the latest version of WordPress as the default. Anyone who forgets their username will be able to log in using their e-mail address.
Responsive preview – Another great new feature is the responsive preview Customiser. With one click, you can choose between the desktop, tablet and mobile device layouts.
